Meet the hosts...
We came to Maine June 1, 2003 to run the Inn for Lloyd and Susie. We loved running the Maple Hill Bed and Breakfast so much that we decided to buy and run the Inn for ourselves. We can't believe this is our 6th season. The time has flown by. We love being your hosts and living in Freeport. Come stay with us.
Our experience...
Janet Lawrence is a home maker and Artist taking care of 3 children and a husband. She has been a Navy Wife and a Unit Coordinator for a couple hospitals in Florida ... She is originally from Ohio. Her free moments(free moments who has free moments?) are filled with baking, cooking and art. Janet is a graduate of University of North Florida and makes fantastic chocolate chip cookies.
Chip Lawrence has traveled extensively throughout Europe, courtesy of the U.S. Navy, and the country on business and pleasure. Some interesting highlights include a few years with the US Navy Aviation Corps( a Helicopter Pilot), First Union National Bank, Witness Systems and Aspect Communications. Chip grew up on the Jersey coast and has spent many summer vacations in Maine. He is an alumni of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University Daytona Campus and makes better chocolate chip cookies.
We've had a lot of fun... especially the fishing, sailing, scuba diving, biking, painting, baking, hiking, flying and ice boating.
